Pausing to pay attention this summer

Hello friends,
We’ve been leaning into the power of pausing and paying attention this summer. Whether it’s taking a break, using our breath to stay grounded, or trying out new tools, this season is asking us to listen more closely. To ourselves, to each other, and to what wants to emerge.
This month’s newsletter is full of invitations to do exactly that:
A conversation with Sarah Hutcherson about breathwork as a companion in times of change
Cait’s podcast interview on using technology with intention and values at the center
A look at a recent brand and website transformation with HUSARCH
A deep dive into why accessibility is not just ethical, but how it’s essential
We’re always curious about what becomes possible when we slow down, ask better questions, and stay connected to what matters.
Here’s to building with intention, clarity, and care.
KEEP LISTENING
Text on top reads: "Building a Breathing Culture with Sarah Hutcherson" in pink and black. Questions to Hold podcast cover; right side is woman smiling behind a tree and right side is the Questions to Hold podcast cover art with the title in black on a light blue background. The bottom has a purple sound wave with the Apple Podcast logo.
Join us for a conversation with Sarah Hutcherson (she/her), where we explore how our breath is a tool and companion to walk with us on the path of change and growth. Sarah guides us through an opening and closing breath to bring us into an embodied practice while we listen.
In this episode you’ll hear about:
How intentional and conscious breaths affect us
Learning to accept who we are through the power of breath
What a breathing culture is and the impact it can have in our lives
Breathing techniques that we can explore at any point of the day
The practice of breath walks
Left side has a cartoon drawing of a man with glasses in a red cape with the podcast title: "Biz Tech Super Hero" stacked on the right side; right side has a play button icon and the text: "Aligning with Business Values: Branding, Boundaries & Tech Tools with Cait Fitzpatrick."
Cait was recently a guest on Josh McNary's BizTech Superhero podcast. This episode is all about using tech with intention: how to make it work for your business instead of letting it take over, and why your values should always lead the way.
They talk about everything from how technology is reshaping the way we build brands to the everyday tools that keep things moving to the big questions AI is raising.
Projects That Make Us Proud!

BWB has been partnering with the team at HUSARCH since last summer, and it’s been a total joy to help bring their next chapter to life. They came to us ready to evolve a brand that had outgrown its original identity and with a website that no longer reflected the depth or direction of the firm.
Together, we worked through an exciting transformation focused on renaming, repositioning, and redefining their brand strategy. We translated that into a visual identity and website that feels aligned, elevated, and beautiful.
The new website has meaningful pathways for different audiences to engage with their work and it captures data to inform their growth ahead.
We’re so proud of what we built together.

Let's Talk About Accessibility

We’ve been having a lot of conversations lately about accessibility, and we’ve been working on some exciting website projects to bring that to life.
We believe accessibility isn’t just about compliance. It’s about connection. Your digital spaces should be as welcoming and thoughtful as the work you do. Building accessible websites isn’t just the right thing to do (though yes, it absolutely is). It’s also smart, future-forward strategy. Accessibility expands your audience, improves user experience, helps with SEO, and protects against legal risk. Most importantly, it reflects the kind of business you want to be: one that welcomes everyone in.
Thanks to our brilliant website developer, Brooke Hartnett, we recently implemented a new tool called accessiBe on our website. It’s a powerful accessibility solution that includes a widget allowing users to customize their experience based on their needs. This can include increasing contrast, adjusting text size, or navigating with a screen reader.

What becomes possible when we allow ourselves to wonder?
In a deeply concerning climate, where action and leadership is needed more than ever, our nervous systems and to-do lists can get overwhelmed by the needs of the time. We rarely, if ever, prioritize ourselves and our needs for dreaming, questioning, and truly seeing the possibilities in front of us.
October 1-5, we will gather in the Catskill mountains as an act of resistance, presence, and devotion. Supported by practices in the realms of inquiry, creativity, spiritual growth, and mindfulness, our intention is to hold an expansive container to shape change together.
We will luxuriate in time and space, and be given ample room and full permission to lean into the unknown.
